We left the Castle District and the bus driver dropped us off across the river from Old Town. It was a beautiful autumn Saturday afternoon and as I said before, a holiday for the Czech Republic - St. Wenceslas Day. I don't really know if that had any effect on the number of people on the river but it was teeming with activity - boats, boat racers, tour boats, paddle boarders & more!! Very fun to watch!!
The Vltava is the longest river in the Czech Republic and is crossed by 18 bridges as it flows through Prague.
We had a beautiful view of the Castle from the bridge.
Lovely!
